Matt Albert is a veteran political consultant. He brings a creative, data-driven, and client-focused approach to winning direct mail programs and digital campaigns for Democratic and Progressive candidates. With more than a decade of experience crafting authentic messaging, he prides himself on developing tailor-made strategies for each client’s unique situation. 


Matt has directed winning direct mail and marketing programs for Democratic and Progressive candidates at all levels of office. He worked on the team that produced award-winning direct mail for President Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign in 10 battleground states which flipped four states and a congressional district.

Matt’s background also includes work in fundraising, issue advocacy, campaign management, media planning, and digital advertising for some of the nation’s leading political organizations, including the National LGBTQ Task Force, Equality PAC, the Voter Participation Center, the Center for Voter Information, the Human Rights Campaign, and statewide ballot measures, PACs and campaigns across the country. He’s been published in the NY Daily News and resides in Brooklyn, NY, with his dog, Mitzi.


Working closely with clients and the team, Nick drives successful mail and digital campaigns across the Malbert Media portfolio. He has a strong understanding of the modern political landscape, messaging and management experience, and a background in budget and cash flow management. With nearly a decade of political experience, he ensures that expectations are set and delivered on time and on budget.


Nick started his career at Booz Allen Hamilton as a management consultant before joining the congressional (and later gubernatorial) campaign of Congressman Tom Suozzi (NY-03) as Finance Director. Most recently, with Malbert Media, he has handled congressional, state senate, and state assembly candidates, and independent expenditures with their fundraising and paid media programs.



To provide clients with the quickest, most creative, and quality-controlled direct mail programs, Malbert works with seasoned political designers that have decades of political mail experience, copywriters, production staff, and strategists. Our designers are creative, detailed, and fast. Our copywriters have written thousands of mail pieces, and one even toured with the Counting Crows. Our support staff has managed programs that have run up to 8-figures. We pride ourselves on setting clear expectations while continuing to adapt to the ever-changing political environment.
